Staff Biography

Joining INNOVIA Education Institute in 2006 as a Managing Editor, Cate Nielan oversees the development of various print- and Web-based resources designed to educate physicians and other health care professionals. Working closely with a team of science content developers, writers, editors, and production staff, Ms. Nielan ensures accurate content, attractive and appropriate design, and timely development of INNOVIA’s educational materials. With a background in association publishing, Ms. Nielan brings more than 10 years of editorial expertise to INNOVIA. Her work has included managing, editing, and writing for trade publications and medical journals, creating promotional materials, and developing HTML publications. Most recently, Ms. Nielan worked as the associate communication director for the Society for Technical Communication. She received her bachelor of arts and master of arts in English from the State University of New York at Binghamton and the University of Virginia, respectively.
