Sara Miller, MS
Medical Writer
Sara C. Miller, MS, joined INNOVIA as a Medical Writer in summer 2007. Ms. Miller received a BS in marine science from Eckerd College and a MS in biology from Wake Forest University. Immediately before coming to INNOVIA, she worked as a family advocate, clinical care coordinator and professional educator with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. During her basic science career, Sara studied the genetic basis of numerous diseases including cystic fibrosis, asthma, COPD, and the muscular dystrophies. She works in a variety of disease states with an emphasis on those within the broad areas of neurology and genetics. She is a member of both the American Medical Writers Association and the American Society of Human Genetics.
