Eve Wilson, PhD
Director, CME Services
With more than 10 years at INNOVIA, Eve Wilson, PhD, is currently Director of CME Services. She has a BS in microbiology from Texas A&M University, as well as a PhD in microbiology from the University of Texas Medical Branch Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Wilson has worked in continuing medical education for over 10 years, with previous experience as a manager of scientific affairs, medical writer, and manuscript editor. She regularly provides staff training on regulatory issues, guidelines, and policies and procedures in CME, and for the past 7 years has conducted an interactive workshop at the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) annual meeting, titled “Preparing CME Materials: Concepts, Strategies, and Ethical Issues.” She is a member of AMWA, the North American Association of Medical Education and Communication Companies (NAAMECC), and the Alliance for CME. She is very active with NAAMECC, having served as chair of the Program Committee (which develops educational activities for members). She was elected to the NAAMECC Board of Directors in 2007.
