Sharon A. Brangman, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Division Chief of Geriatric Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York. She is the Director of the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program and is also Director of the Central New York Alzheimer's Disease Assistance Center.
Dr. Brangman is certified in internal medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society, and was elected to the board of the American Geriatrics Society in May 2002.
Dr. Brangman received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, New York, where she also completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine.
