D. Wayne Bell, MD, completed his pre-medical studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John\'s, Newfoundland. He earned his medical degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he also completed a rotating internship.
Dr. Bell is currently in private practice in the Bowling Green, Ohio area. He also serves as the senior member of the Human Subjects Review Board, an Investigational Review Board of Bowling Green State University. He has held that position since 1995. Previously, he was the Head of the Department of Anaesthesia at Northside General Hospital in North Sydney, Nova Scotia.
A professional speaker at over 70 presentations a year, Dr. Bell is also active in his state legislature. He and state representative Randy Gardner crafted the newly enacted asthma bill in the Ohio Legislature, allowing school children direct access to their inhalers in school.
